About Cambridge School
CAMBRIDGE SCHOOL , Cuttack is managed and administered by the Montfort Brothers of St. Garbiel Education Society founded by St. Montfort in 1703. Since then, it has spread to 32 countries and is engaged in the mission of education. 'Education' a very wide connection. The organization therefore caters to the educational needs of not only children and youth in normal academic school but also imparts technical education, education of deaf,, the dumb and the blind, the physically and mentally handicapped and engages in village uplift and social works especially among the down trodden and the marginalized. Montfortian education chooses for the total development of the young. They are helped to discover their God given talents and work towards their fullest development in order to place them at the service of the society. It is my great pleasure to take charge as the principal of Cambridge School, Cantonment Road, Cuttack, Odisha which is one of the best schools in the city. And as an educationist, I firmly believe that intelligence plus character formation is the goal of true education. I dream of a school where children are happy and attendance become more regular; students behaviours become more positive and disciplined; and the atmosphere is cordial, enthusiastic, productive and confident.
I strive to develop passion for teaching and learning. And I love opportunities to help, instil and encourage passion in teachers. There is nothing more exciting than watching a passionate teacher creating an attitude, climate and culture where students develop their full potentials and talents and become worthy and useful citizens. I strongly acknowledge that children need our support, guidance, motivation, encouragement along with our inspiring virtues like love, patience, compassion and care for their all-round development.
